Help Your Students Rewrite Their Story  Through Identity

Why Identity Work Matters

Identity is one of the strongest forces shaping behaviour. For many of the children you work with, “who I am” has been built around.

  • Unstable home and school experiences

  • Peer and gang influences

  • Community dynamics and exploitation

  • Unprocessed trauma and survival strategies

When staff can explore identity with care, structure and emotional containment, behaviour stops being “the problem” and becomes information: a doorway into the young person’s story, loyalties and fears.

This session helps children to explore:

  1. Prosocial Early Adolescent Identity

  2. Pro-Offending Teenage Identity

  3. Prosocial Adult Identity

Staff are given concrete questions and prompts that children actually respond to, helping them move from “I don’t know” to rich narratives about their past and hopes for the future.

Below is an example of our staff training, which is delivered as part of the Elite Package.

Our education content for children is filmed using a similar style with learning prompts and tasks for completion
